I know this is a bit cheeky, but I figured there's no harm in asking!

I've recently started working as a teaching assistant at a school in birmingham, it's basically for kids who can't get on in mainstream education. As most of our kids are not exactly academic, we want to try and give them as many practical skills as possible, and we are trying to set up some sort of motorbike mechanics scheme, and hopefully intend to take part in the Youthbike competition next year.

Now the cheeky bit- I'm looking for a donor bike for the project.....
Not looking for anything flashy, or really anything bigger than a 250 due to space constraints, in any condition really (although a working engine would be a good start!). Most importantly though, it needs to be free

If any of you good people have anything rusting away behind the shed, or know of anyone who may be able to help us out, I would be eternally grateful!

Thanks for looking!:thumbsu:

may be worth approaching a bike training firm - they must have stacks of knackered 125s and it would be good pr for them

If the bike don't need to be road legal, try approaching the Police, we use confiscated pit bikes and such at Bromsgrove College.
