one of my favourite images was when i went to pick up my moto guzzi california from what was then west brom kawasaki, i thought it looked gorgeous and i felt like a dog with two dicks when i rode up to bogarts that night. obviously the sight of my daughter jess popping into the world and the launch of the first space shuttle was something to behold.

If he doesn't I do. :)
I used to go to school with Zoom ( Big Mick - Mick Hughes ). As far as I know he's still working as a sound engineer with some American heavy metal outfit. I know he worked with Metalica for years . . .I still see, and speak to his mother on a regular basis.
Stump - I've only seen about twice in the last twelve months or so, but that ain't unusual, it goes like that sometimes . . . . . you don't see a chap for ages, then you're falling over the bugger for the next month or so.

The only Round of Beef that I know is in Colley Gate, which is mid way between Halesowen and Lye, and about 500 yards from my house. Shiit must edit that bit out. Don't know of a club that meets there though.

Just off the mucklow hill round about?
If you come down Mucklow Hill and go straight on for about 1.5 miles, the Round of Beef is on the left. The one you might be thinking about which is just off Mucklow Hill island is the Wagon and Horses. Its always been "biker friendly" but I still don't think theres a club as such meets there.

Is this the same Big Mick that used to run "Concert Light and Sound" (or summat like that) in Birmingham? Used to be based at the bottom of Snow Hill?
As a VERY young boy, this lady blew my world apart.

I think I last saw him in about 1990 at a gig somewhere. I was a sound tech at Aston Uni in the mid/late 80s and occasionally we'd use Mick for a few hire-ins. Some of my mates dropped out of uni and went to work for Mick or for SSE (another pa/lights outfit).
