I`m in search of a ickle plastic tap for my old vacuum gauges, similar to THESE (http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/525114/Workshop/Tools/Davida) (mine are older blue 1`s)
The plastic tap fits inline the rubber hose, and acts as a damper. I`m found similar taps, however its the actual screw that I`ve lost (I still got the tap body), the 1 I`m after has a thin 2mm x 6mm pin on the end.
Anyone know where I can get the right replacement part?

they are the same as the ones on my guages, and are used to regulate airflow for air pumps on fishtanks

this (http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2049&currency=GBP) is the closest I`ve got so far....... a mere £0.65 from my local fish tank shop.
alternatively theres these (http://www.swelluk.com/aquarium/aquarium-air-pumps-accessories-9/air-line-accessories-108/algarde-tee-valve-50.html?ref=shopping) T piece taps for around £2.50 a pair
however I`m still gonna try and seek out the orginal ........ seems they`re the old version, so someone may have some obsolite stock around. I have been pointed in the direction of B&Q & garden centres, as they use them in micro irrigation systems

Looks a good bit like a radiator drain plug in size

I found putting pegs over the outside of the rubber tubes to constrict the flow works just as well in damping the pulses so you get an accurate read, just need to try various of your clothes pegs to find ones with the right profile to not completely shut the pipes
