i would prefere somewhere where we can hear each other and not have to scream to be heard so somewhere we can make our own noise or somewhere with music but either another room or jukebox type thingy

myth i'm afraid johnny.
i was born just 2 miles from lake Vyrnwy.
the chapel bell was removed before the water came.
i did see some ruins in 1974.

but tales of the bell ringing on quiet nights i'm afraid is just that, a tale.

a road runs all around the lake 11 miles. we used to time which of us could do it the quickest.
more than one biker has bounced off a sheep and into the lake in the past :D

had a lok at nice little pub in Hinckley last nit - 2 rooms so disco noise not an option, but they got Black cat crypt playing thant nite. Afetr speaking with landlord & lady have left my details as they are interested in putting other nites on.

Only drawback with this one was parking - restricted at pub,altho car park accross the road, also other parking avail about 400 yards away.

so for feb this is a non starter.

As for the disco - I am known for not having it too loud - so noise level can be decided by those there

Is it not a bit overkill, having our own disco (no offence creature), when there are only gonna be a 10 or so of us ???

We then have to find a room in a pub, creature has the hassle of bringing his gear and setting up etc etc

If its a pub that is fairly local to all of us, then the minibus idea is better. BTW will it drop off in Durham????
