as per the title, anyone know fof any good suppliers?

I bought a klr650 and it just wasnt quite right, found a few online guides to making them run better and it all made good sense, so took carb off, opened the top up and found that the existing diaphram just lept out, so I modded the slide, put a spacer under the needle, went to put it back together and thats where the fun started

the damned thing has grown, and Im not just talking a lil bit, its massively larger than the lip it has to sit in, I really cant explain it, but you seat it in all the way round like you normall would and you got a loop excess of about 7-8mm left over, physical impossibility to get the b'stard thing back in

its a CVK carb, apparantly in the USA the harley part is a lot cheaper than the kawasaki part? but I doubt that here

I expect I will have to buy a whole new slide and diaphram but its not going to run right until I do :(

dont want to risk ebay as I had no luck with buying bike bits from there recently,

proper job, theys the ones I was looking for :)

would help if I spelt the rubber thingys correctly :(

diaphragms

oops no wonder search engines didnt bring much up

(they dont do the klr one, emailed them to ask)

cradley who I normally buy all my bits from want over £100 for it :(

I have just cut it about with a scalpel, used some rubber solution glue stuff and put it back together, flippin eck pulls like a train now :)

but need to repair properly as this is my daily commuter, as well as my new shooting transport, and green laner :)

nrp are spot on. the guy works out of a tiny unit actually inside manchester victoria station. but he has diaphragms and repair kits for hundreds and hundreds of carbs

ok cool thanks for the advice

if they cant supply then I just found a place with replacement assembly for the harley carb, £44 for slide and rubber bit

thats very good compared to kawasaki

my main problem being that how long NRP will need it for to repair it, as this is my only transport :(

if he has the parts, he can usually turn stuff round the same day if you tell him its urgent.

Bollox, i had to phone him 3 times to find out where mine were.
Took him nearly a fucking week!
Wasnt anything fancy, just a 535
Only problem is he is the only one selling replacements other than genuine, they need to buck their idea's up!
