Wanted XJ550 bits

Anyone got Carbs and/or Exhaust system to fit an XJ550 give me a shout I'm desperate to get me rat on the road !

Me mates just sold a complete runner and best another 95% complete one for £300 the pair. I'll have a word and see if the lad that bought it will flog the carbs. The zaust was most of the 5% missing from the second bike unfortunately.

i have the same problem. i have a xj550 here but the carbs and zaust are fubar.
the carb diaphragms that are knackered. quoted £700 by yamaha to replace them. guess what??

The guy that had the bike before me has tried to work on the Carbs and chewed up screws so I can't get them out to work on them so need replacement ! Life's a bitch ain't it ?

Can't mate, need replacements as screws are stuck solid with heads chewed to buggery !

i stripped one of the bowls and it was pretty clean inside, and also stripped the top off to look at the diaphram, it looks good with no holes and no scoring to the piston. The choke works fine all pistons move fine, all in all they look to be good and could do with a quick clean up
