have just joined up so thought i'd say hi and introduce myself....
i'm jon but most people know me as jb, i've abit of a fettish for old zeds and am currantly running an '81 Z650 useing a GPZ750 turbo motor with ZX9R running gear which gets constant abuse!
i do the odd respray and am also planning to do another turbo powered 650 as funds permit :D

cheers for the welcomes, an likewize drew.....seem to be starting my own breakers yard with old oiley zed bits!
carnt say too much about how back end fits, i was lucky enough to buy the ped last year with running gear already fitted and havent striped the back yet...the front end is straight forward enough though, have just put same forks & yokes in my other bike. press out old Z650 yoke spindle, machine up top hat bush to weld onto spindle and take up the larger hole on 9R bottom yoke, press in modded spindle.....cut off the old lockstop from frame and weld on new one to headstock......sorted :D
