He just popped round on his way somewhere and helped me get the new battery into the trike - an operation that required at least five hands, but we made do with four, some bits of stick, a piece of taped up cardboard and quite a lot of words beginning and ending in 'f', 'k', 's' 't', 'b', 'd'. It's done now, though, and it fires up and runs luvverly!
Just taken it for a quick spin down the lane - first time since Simon (Suffolk Spanner Monkey) re-made me gearchange linkage and, fcuk me, it's smoother than a baby's bottom with extra baby lotion rubbed in. No clangs, no bangs, just silent and smooth gearchanges. :D
