So your looking for a set of handle bars and a guitar.
Why copy some-one elses idea's, none of your own?

Obviously he has no idea's of his own, prefer to copy some-one else's idea's.

I've seen very little over the last few years that's genuinely novel and inventive.
Most if not all of the 'customs' that are drooled over by some people take their inspiration from something that went before.

Lets see some of your novel ideas....:)

I agree with you about stuff being copied but it was always done with that persons own interpretation but this wasnt, and besides.......... ITS A FUCKING MUDGUARD NOT A FENDER!

As for my novel idea's, look in the present copy of "TRIKE magazine" also look at old copys of AWOL, the Awol project bike and "john bolts" project bike, i had an input, not a lot but still an input.

And your input is.......................

Bugger all.:D

But I'm not commenting on lack of imagination. My aesthetic input to my trike has been limited to a few cans of barbecue paint.....:o

Odie,
no wonder you've only got virtual mates with an attitude like that. Have you always used the first style of bars or fuel tank, have you always used a style of frame never seen before, I doubt it. I'm helping him put this bike together because he cant do everything himself. I have known Paul for nearly 40 years and he has had a lot of shit in his life, and things like me feeding him for the last week so he can buy the bits he needs for this bike or the fact it's a 22 mile walk to see his girlfriend while he's putting it together shows commitment to the biking lifestyle, or if you prefer he give up biking. When it's done he will ride it all year round as its his only transport and he does do a lot of miles. So you're slgging people off for not being original
and not thinking for themselves, well you're doing that to all the fat wheeled v-maxes out there that were'nt the first or all the flyrite bobbers about and even all the H.A. members that ride baggers with apes. He was asking for help to find what he wanted, but he would really like high apes but because of health reasons he cant have bars too high. so, unless you're the first with new and original ideas at all times, take you're attitude and shove it firmly up you're arse.

Dracken at jw will be able to make you up what ever you want .
I got fed up getting bars and sending them back so I sat on the trike and my other half measured distance, length, height of how I wanted to sit. My welder/clever bugger made up a set in wire to make sure it was what I wanted and then made them up in 7/8 bar.
So get beer, pencil, paper and ruler and have a doodle.....
Cost me £25 to have them made....20 for chrome....so money should not be an issue....:D
