Cool!Never understood how a turbofan worked until I saw one close up at East Fortune Air Museum to the east of Edinburgh.They've got one of the Vulcans that flew the Black Buck missions in the Falklands.Well worth a visit.

And so few moving parts! less to go wrong! Why not have the same technolodgy applied to motercycles? Even harley engines wouldnt break down so much! :p

Try a tumbledryer. My son did when he was small, all you could hear was whirrr!Bump! Owww! Whiirrr! Bump! Owww! He thought he would spin fast like the clothes, but the motor couldn't take his weight.
