S'not the NHS, it's private, back to the realms of silly hats that take three hours to set in starch.......and a decent salary! :)

Thank God it's not the NHS !!

Sorry Mr's R, didn't mean to piss on your bonfire !!!

The wife works for the NHS as a staff nurse. Last night our eldest (7 years old) had a major asthma attack. could hardly breathe etc. 999 and 3 mins later in the back of an ambulance with the wife, rushed to casualty at the same hospital that the wife works at...

...she was due to start work later that night but after ashley was admitted to the children's ward she rang them to say that she would not be in that night.

You could hear the ward manager shouting on the other end of the phone from 5 feet away !!!! Even the doctor (who let her use the phone) rang them back and asked them what they expected her to do ??

If it hadn't meant losing her job I know where the fuckin phone would be now !!!

Anyway, that's my moan..... Congrats and the new job & UP privatisiation !!!
