I took this in exchange for a couple of KLR600's a while back (still not sure why?) and while it's fun to ride, it's a toy.

This particular bike had been hidden away for 14 years and is very good condition for a 25 year old bike (or 11 years if you count the parked up part).

Bike is mot'ed until May and is taxed until Feb 2010. Starts easily and will be great fun this coming summer.
Engine number does not match frame (sorry purists), but is a 31k prefix.

A few things need looking at, the main one is the speedo screams at you above 40 and the mileage doesn't change (I guess this is perfect for a limited mileage classic policy), the bike is just how it was when it was parked up (I've done about 200 miles on it recently and it was fun, but I'm too old for going down four gears to overtake).

Price £895, Sorry no px or offers (in bits it's worth this, maybe more?)

 .................

As a smelly old stroker owner meself (TDR25)), I heartily concur - they're brilliant toys.

£895 is a bargain too - you don't normally get them that cheap!

Thanks for looking.

Nik, if it was a TDR250, I would be keeping it, lovely lunatic bike that :thumbsu:

A brief update.
After putting the ad up, I've found out that my lockup has to be empty at the end of May for two weeks while they replace the asbestos roof, so it's got to go, I've got somewhere to put one bike, but not two.

I've bunged it on eblag now, same price.

They should snap yer arm off at that price! :)

Always wanted a TDR and got one with TZR wheels. Lovely piece o' kit ... or at least it was until Ms T had a sit on it and decided she could ride it, 'cept it's just a bit too tall.

<Sigh> Okay, we'll lower it then.

Now it looks like the rear shock's collapsed, but she can at least ride it.

The fun bit now is that she now doesn't like the look of it as much with the low seat height so she's going to get used to it and then jack it back up again so that it looks nice again.

Women, eh? :rolleyes::D

Bike has now sold (oddly enough to someone in the same trials club that I'm in).

Glad to hear the TDR is going to go back up in stature Nik.
