Due to an argument with a patch of ice this morning I need a new front mudguard for my GS125 I went down the local bike place and it seems no-one makes pattern ones and an original is £86 + VAT now I don't fancy paying £100 for a basic - no frills no fancy twiddly aero bits mudguard. So if anyone knows of a source please shout
By he way it is a Red GS125ESK which is the 91 model.
Alternatively as it has not snapped totally across just split most of the way, anyone have any ideas of how to mend it ?

i only have a listing for the rg125 in grp.
which in red is £28.95 plus shipping
That's a disgracefully good price, Dracken, compared to a genuine soozook price.

I can look in the shed, might have a scruffy one around somewhere, not really needed if it's there as my gs went on to a new owner a few years back. Will need paint if thats a bother............. but the new pattern grp one sounds good.............

Removed it last night and realised that there is a metal bracket that takes all the load, that is detached from the plastic so have mounted that back on the bike to stop shit getting in the threads and at least pretend to brace the forks (like a 125 need it). That means I am far happier to have a go at fixing it myself with araldite or equivalent from the bottom as it needs only to withstand aero forces which are not much on a 125.
I shall let you know how it goes, in the meantime thanks for all the offers.

its the vibration that will make it crack again if you dont do it right. remember the front muddy is unsprung weight so will bounce and jarr over every bump you hit.

Araldite will be useless for that kind of repair . Follow the link that Johnr put up and follow the instructions. Good quality answers like that are worth following if you want to DIY.
