It won't be any good against the Truvelo cameras though.

Thought camera 'detectors' were illegal now?

Got the Tomtom for work
got the Zumo for the bike.
both have the latest updated POI`s installed & give me audible warning as I get close to any camera site, these POI`s are updated at least every 2 weeks, on a subscription based service. So even the temporary spec`s cameras in roadworks that they move along as the job progresses are updated.
The item in the OP, is GPS based and relys on known GPS co-ordinates, inc your location, & it doesn`t AFAIK use laser, radar, or radio signals, & is only as good as the updates installed, something thats been pointed out on other forums.

That's what I thought and why it is not for me. When hand held radar speed guns first came out I used to average about one fine every six weeks. in those days they just fined us, no points. I bought one of those radar detector kits which I assembled myself and never got another ticket. The only downside was that it would go off when I passed an electricity sub station.

A tomtom or other similar satnav correctly setup & regularly loaded with updated POI locations, is more than effective.
I recieved an email this morning telling me that the database I mentioned has been updated with over 80+ changes in camera locations, so it looks like I`m going to be spending a few minutes this weekend updating the devices
