According to the Independent Monday 24th January is cumulatively the worst day of the year. People are feeling the winter cold, in debt after Xmas and have failed to stick with their new year's resolutions, are overweight depressed and penniless.
Tell me about it, I've not only got 2 major exams tomorrow on Monday 24th which I must pass to continue this year, I put on three quarters of a stone over the holidays and I have PMT!!!!!
The only person round here who is worse off than me is Mitch who has to suffer it all - he has retreated into the shed where he has the radio on and is 'tinkering' with sommat :)
Roll on the weekend when it will all be over and getting pissed and having fun duties will resume :D

As nobody else has replied yet, I'll try to console you with some mature advice Mrs R, what you need to remember is,..........

Alright, I'll close the door on my way out.

Nah, happily tinkering away on sprog's bike (soon to be our winter hack – though by the time it's finished it'll be summer) listening to Pink Floyd – the Division Bell (which I haven't heard for about 10 years) – till the light went and I couldn't see enough using the little light in the shed.

Exams, don't ya just love 'em?

Don't you hate that? I had a bloke sit next to me who had numerous nervous twitches (he was only 25) including making a funny sucking noise and flicking things - used to drive me feckin' mental - in fact I thought I might have to resign before I killed him. Oh the deep joy when he got another job and left!!!!!

Yes at first, you'd be suprised how soon you get f*cked off with it tho' ;)

Were these involuntary spasms or did anything bring them on?

Mrs Reject
24-01-2005, 04:02 PM
Involuntary, you could be having a totally normal conversation with him and he would suddenly make a noise like a vacuum cleaner and flick a post it note in your hair. He'd carry on talking as tho' nothing had happened whilst you stood there stunned, covered in post it notes :)

Anaesthetics exam went great, I'm sure I've got an A in that one.
Research studies multiple choice however was dire, I'll be lucky if I scraped through and might well be retaking that in September along with most of my year - it was fiendish!:(
It was not so much a multiple choice paper as filling in a lottery ticket and hoping to get lucky :)

Sorry chums but you started this - how did you break it?, I'm interested from a purely anatomical and scientific point of view naturally and will then go forth and attempt to recreate experiment in my own laboratory :D

well, it involved his leg (hip to be precise) and he made a lot of noise doing it, and I was confused and didn't realise he was shouting in agony and erm, well, yes, guess I take the blame for that one!
