I keep looking at Royal Enfields and thinking I'd like one!!:eek:
Mainly one of these:

Stripped down of course, it's one of the ones rebadged as a Indian, there's a guy down the road who used to work with who has one, with all the crap taken off.

I've always liked them but I never owned one. now bikes have moved on so far I have outgrown them. not really practical for today because the good old ones are too old to be used as workhorses, and the new Indian ones are badly made. they still look good and would make a nice toy for slow ride outs on sunny days..I suspect they would not have the power to get you out of trouble on a motorway with todays heavy traffic...Just an opinion...John

Well, if you are still voluntarily riding a DAS bike (Honda 500) and are now looking at something even slower - there is no help for you at all.

Seeing as you can do das on any bike over 47bhp like you say, that means almost everyone on here who actaully rides is riding a das bike, including you!!!

Well thats down to cost, isn't it? Not many can afford to fix bits on harleys when learners drop them, but hondas crash well, spares are cheap and at 500cc, their good for learners, unless they nail it and hit 6500 rpm, then their gonna crap themselves. And seeing as you ride a gay v-rod, not even a real harley, who are you to talk? And you bottled racing me!!!:p:D:D
