using one of our domiracer frames the xs650 fits in nicely.... except it doesn't.

you cannot actually get the engine into a standard domiracer frame.. so i have photoshopped it into there.
and straight away we can see what will need to be altered.
the lower frame rails will need to be lower(so we can get it in)
the swingarm mount is to far away from the gearbox sprocket..

but those are easily fixed. the intention is to supply a frame. were the customer can use many of the existing parts. we'll supply dural front and rear engine mounts. 4 of the 6 piece head steady assembly can still be used.
rake will be taken back to 25 degrees, making it more responsive in turns.
different steering heads can be fitted if the customer wants to use a specific front end.
the manx or sprint tanks will fit straight on as will the tail pieces. oil tank will actually be a battery and leccy box.

the seat humps are reinforced underneath with grp as it was found that under race conditions the base was cracking where the hump starts, due to the rider tpushing back against it repeatedly. price is £80.00 plus shipping.

we did think about angling the xs forward but straight away it lost it's classic vertical look. plus when you tilt a vertical twin. which vibrates as mush as an xs does, foward those vibrations are directed more through the headstock... not nice:D
