cheers thanks, knew that the pump looked familiar, Im not into cars, but yes its just like the mechanical pump on the old cars that ran off a lobe on the cam, will pull mine off there and try a few car parts shops.
mines just like yours, few small differences but just a smaller version of yours, theres a plate on the back of the unit but its well worn and unreadable, just made out a few bits that are german, maybe thats the motor manufacturer not the actual saw unit??
I had to move it and load it into a van on my own, forget lifting it, hard enough to walk it across the floor, tipped it back towards me to try and move it, BOLLOX forgot to drain it, coolant and shyte all down my legs and in me trainers LOL
got smart in the end, laid a full length ladder down along the ground up into the back of the van and walked it along and up the ladder :)

Fiat 1300/1500/1800/2000 SOHC/DOHC? fitted to the 131, 132, 128, Lancia Beta, and so on.
Educated stab in the dark.
If it is, Lada Riva/Cossack ones are proably the same.
Rip guts out of old battery charger, wire into saw, use 12 volt feed to SU leccy pump?

the saw is itallion i used to have the mec brown 275 and 350 the numbers relate to the blade diameter on the mec 275 the coolant pump can be replaced with one off a talbot sunbeam but the arm does have to be moddified slightly how ever ive since just made a coolant tank and used a 240 volt electric pump and used just one of the phases from the saw hope this helps ps if you want any details of stockests of spares let me know and i will get you contact details
