I know it's a bike forum but...
After all the farting around of Wednesday morning, when the car got pranged, lo and behold, the other side has not only admitted 100% liability, they have already got the Mondeo booked in for repairs and I've just picked up a hire car...
WHY CAN'T THIS HAPPEN WITH BIKE INSURANCE - WHEN SOMEONE IN A CAR HITS YOU ON A BIKE, IT TAKES MONTHS? AND THEY TRY TO WANGLE OUT OF PAYING UP...
(phew - sorry about that, rant over...)
... It is one of those Vauxhall Agila things - supposed to be an MPV (great we can still go to Ikea then :D
First thing I did was put it in reverse! First gear's not where it's supposed to be - that's where reverse is!! Anyroad, finally got home after getting used to the weeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrd driving position (after the mondeo) plus the funny looks from everyone behind me. Everything's so stick like and dinky. I was laughing all the way home :D
Just found this write-up about it - very suspect here (http://www.hoot-uk.com/content/launch_pad/archive/vauxhall/agila.html)
