I know it's a bike forum but...

After all the farting around of Wednesday morning, when the car got pranged, lo and behold, the other side has not only admitted 100% liability, they have already got the Mondeo booked in for repairs and I've just picked up a hire car...

WHY CAN'T THIS HAPPEN WITH BIKE INSURANCE - WHEN SOMEONE IN A CAR HITS YOU ON A BIKE, IT TAKES MONTHS? AND THEY TRY TO WANGLE OUT OF PAYING UP... :mad:

(phew - sorry about that, rant over...)

... It is one of those Vauxhall Agila things - supposed to be an MPV (great we can still go to Ikea then :D

First thing I did was put it in reverse! :eek: First gear's not where it's supposed to be - that's where reverse is!! Anyroad, finally got home after getting used to the weeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrd driving position (after the mondeo) plus the funny looks from everyone behind me. Everything's so stick like and dinky. I was laughing all the way home :D

I looks a bit silly as opposed to gay, it's like driving a toy car.

Can't wait to see Mrs R's face when she gets picked up later!!

Can't wait to see Mrs R's face when she gets picked up later!! sorry mate, the car does'nt look gay, i think it was the bloke from the village people standing next to it that made me cast that unfair expurtion. :)

Nah, it's a weird blue, called Moonland or summat daft!
Mrs R's got it now for a bit, just dropped me off at work.
That bloke in the picture, I'm sure is Robert Blake in Electra Glide in Blue, the little copper who wants to be a detective. Maybe it's Vauxhall's idea to make the car look big... :D

Can you just see Mitch in a smart car hahahahahahahahaha! He'd never fit in it, he'd need an extra trailer for his hair :)
The car is horrible to drive, not only does it bounce, but you feel like yur doing 100 mph when it's actually only 30. Oh yes, and I keep setting off in 3rd and stalling it!

It's fantastic over the bumps on the A27 towards Polegate, it almost took off!!
