ive just been given a full bottle of co2 pub size,what type or size regulator do i need to get to convert my mig to take the bigger bottle,ive looked on welding suppliers but theres friggin loads of different types cheers chazz

What type of bottle are you using at the moment, if a pub Co2 bottle is bigger? For home use a half size Argoshield bottle should be about three and a half foot tall (above your belly button). Does the Co2 bottle have a red stripe down the side as this would mean the gas is liquid (the stripe represents the syphon inside) and you would need a heater to make the liquid gaseous again. If it does not have the stripe, you have gas, man!:thumbu:
