It's called 'Anubis' and was built by a couple down Bristol way, as far as I remember. It was first shown at the South West show about five or six years ago and also entered in the Bulldog custom show. I do know a bit more about it.

I think he is just after information and history of the trike, from how i've read it, I gather his first advert was pulled, hence why he put pics up for sale at an unreasonable cost.

It would be best to check with the MSVA guy but I believe it is illegal to run a motor with two engines driving simultaneously. I suppose if they drove seperate wheels, the sudden loss of power in one would spin you like a top or if both are linked and one engine drops a rod!!!!! I am sure a few peeps here have seen a seriously blown engine, my firms transit engine bay looked like the result of an IED.....:thumbu:

What about the twin engined 4WD Mini Moke, mind you that was the 70s.
Also how does the 4WD 2CV Citroen get rear drive?, I have always assumed by a rear engine but haven't seen 1 in the flesh

I did say to check as I seem to remember the Scrapheap Challenge thing where they travelled from down South up to Scotland. At each stop they faced different challenges and altered the vehicles to suit. The Ice cream van had two engines, but they had to uncouple one as they said it was illegal to run on the road like that. I probably am wrong and just having a senior citizen moment but still think it's best to check.

Like I said, It was a long time ago, but I thought they said it was illegal, I wonder if it might be because the two engines powered two different axles, one front and one rear. Whereas the others presumably power one or both axles simultaneously. The law can be odd at times as I remember talking to a guy that had a small block Chevy trike with 5 wheels (I know, not actually a trike, just configured like one) and he complained he had to tax and insure it as a car. This was before they changed the law to make trike riding a car licence only activity.

I'm pretty sure it was built by a bloke called John who had a place called Triketek (i'm sure that was the name of the place) it was down Devon way, i went there once and picked up a Trike he "built" was a massive pile of Bollox, place was on a farm.
Blackjack may remember the bloke, was about 12 years ago i was there, seem to remember the twin engined thing in the corner.

Cheers:D
