On my way home after a trip out , me and a couple of the "olds cool" crew called in at a truck stop for substanance.( i were that hungry, i could have eaten a pair of gypsy.s underpants) got the usual nice sincere comments about how cool our bikes are etc.and got thrown a real kipper of a wayward pat ont back...quote.." YOU BEEN WATCHIN THAT AMERICAN CHOPPER THEN ?"" ....Nearly choked on my snap digesting that baztard :D:

Taff...I were building bikes in bagdad when that tootle twat was in his dads bag...ive met many cheeky chaps thru them years...fux sake...i can even remember a young fugin upstart and his mate knockin on my door tryin to "beg" some custom bits off me 30 years ago..cheeky little fuger spun me such a fukin sob story i almost cried...;)
Still left empty handed though didn't they...?
Vengeance will be mine, i'm just biding me time...

It's not as if I ever get asked about two actors and their daring doo around the world & Africa.:mad:
Because, lets face it, the only way anyone discovered that BMW made a bikes capable of going off road and hauling a load was through those two.:rolleyes:

That's right and nobody can ride huge miles like them either. It must be hard riding alone, worried about border crossings and paperwork, bandits and terrorists...... right, full back-up, camera crew, staff doing visas et al. Terra Mundo and a few others just went out and did it and I admire them more for it. I am not dissing Charlie and Ewan (much) but it would have been better if they had done it on their own......:unsure:

I'm not dissing Boorman & McObi. If someone was to offer me what they did, I'd not turn it down in a hurry.
Just get a bit hacked off by the assumption that I'm riding on & off road down to their publisiced exploits.
