Just popped to Reading and back for an interview - 420 miles of motorway madness. The GoldWing looks a bit grubby now :eek: but there's no way I could go back to 'normal' biking!!!

I sat on a bike with a hooge fairing once when I was bike-hunting. Didn't even take it out for a test ride cos it felt horrid! How long did it take you to get used to it?

Normal - like my katana or CBR streetfighter. No radio/cassette. No spare gallon of petrol/jump leads/waterproofs/bottles of coke/kitchen sink... 400 miles on the kat would have nearly killed me!!

I admit that I nearly shat myself when I first tried to ride the Wing - the weight, width and 20 odd people watching me! Took a couple of months to get used to it - I tried riding the CBR after 4 months of Wing riding and it felt tiny... and faaassstttt !!!

Oh right, thought you were trying to suggest that peeps riding anything else were normal, I mean I aint normal, go on ask me and I tell ya.

400 miles om the bike would have been fine (gsxr 1100) but would have been hell on the trike (max speed about 75 mph takes years to get any where) any way i am normal every one else is weird (doesent every one have a lathe in the spare room) :D
