This is the only option avaiable to us .......... which is already selected and we can't unselect it, can you have a word with the IT person to change it so we can use avatars Pleeeaassseeeeee :)

if you need any help advice give us a shout, I run version 2 of this forum (yours is version 3) but it should be basically the same, would be easy to change that Vbulletin logo at the top to a 100% Biker one also.

just save a 100% biker logo as "vbulletin3_logo_white.gif" and upload it to the same location as it's currently stored on your server should be forums/images/misc/

Also back to the subject of avatar I would recomend that you don't allow bigger than 100 x 100 pixels and limit the size to about 5kb at the start it won't make much difference but in the long run when the forum gets busy it will start to run very slow if you allow large avatars.

what sort of bandwidth allowance do you have? doesn't take long for forums to start chewing up close to 5gb a month as they get large - can be pricey depending on your host.

you need to click on user cp
then on the bit which says avatar,use custom, browse to find picture, upload photo etc using instructions
(and invariably having to resize things 3 times as is very particualr)
click on save changes and keep fingers crossed
