I know that they are not always our favourite people but there is no need for this type of behaviour (http://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/news/default.asp?dismode=article&artid=15777).

Incident - A40, Denham roundabout

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident on the A40 at the Denham roundabout on Sunday (27/7).

At 3.30pm two student motorcyclists were travelling along the A40 from Oxford Road, Denham, under the instruction of a Metropolitan police officer. They all turned left on the roundabout travelling in the direction towards London on Western Avenue.

The instructor, a 33-year-old man, from Buckinghamshire, became aware of a blue Porsche Carrerra 911 driving aggressively behind his students and undertaking other vehicles. He indicated to the driver of the Porsche to slow down and then manoeuvred in front of it. The Porsche then collided into the rear of the instructor, knocking him off his white Honda motorcycle and into the central reservation and the path of oncoming traffic.

The Porsche, then on the wrong side of the carriageway, reversed and collided with one of the student motorcyclists, knocking him off his blue Yamaha, causing serious leg injuries.

The occupants of the Porsche, three white men abandoned the Porsche and threatened another motorist, a 43-year-old woman, from Buckinghamshire, in a black BMW with an axe. The frightened and shocked woman got out of the car and the men got into her vehicle. They left on the northbound carriageway on the A40 towards the junction on the A412.

Both, the Metropolitan police officer and the student motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man, from Bedfordshire, were taken to Hillingdon Hospital. The officer sustained minor injuries and was later released. The student is in a serious condition.

The other motorcyclist, a 48-year-old man, from Hertfordshire, who was riding a black KTM and the female driver of the BMW did not sustain any injuries, but are both naturally shocked and traumatised by the incident.

Detective Inspector Dave Allen, leading the investigation, said: “This was a shocking, malicious incident, one you only expect to see in the movies and it has left all the victims involved extremely traumatised.

“We have discovered the Porsche was stolen from St Albans, Hertfordshire, and it was on false number plates from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. It is imperative anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity contacts me or Crimestoppers. I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything in either St Albans or Cheshunt, the collision itself, the Porsche before the collision or the BMW leave the scene travelling at speed on the A40, or onto the A412 North Orbital Road towards Rickmansworth.

“We need to find these men and make sure they can not do this again.”

Det Insp Allen can be contacted at Thames Valley Police via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to talk to the police, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Note to media:
The two student motorcyclists are not members of a police force. The metropolitan officer was carrying out a Bike Safe lesson with the students, which is a road safety initiative to promote safer riding.

Sweet FA to do with lottery winners - they were in a stolen car with stolen plates & seems nothing more than an unprovoked attack......

They should be sent down for a long time for attempted murder amongst other things, in my opinion.

It wasn't intended seriously about the chavs and lotteries.
And agree with you, send this scum down for a long long time, copper or not,the attack was wholly unprovoked.
Sorry if the sentiment came across wrong and seemed disrespectful to those involved, not intended

just what the fuck is wrong with these people?

Copper or not, he was on a bike. We could be hearing about three dead bike riders and not two injured riders.

This wasn't just bad driving. From the report it sounds to me as though they actually wanted to hurt people for no reason. Stolen car on stolen plates? That makes it premeditated. I wonder what possible excuse they can come up with for such antics.

A very long sentence after a serious kicking is required.

Chopper.

They were obviously up to something, but might not have set out to attack those people - the copper telling him to slow down probably set something off and the driver decided to be a twat... not defending these people in any way, but I doubt that they set out in the car to do that particular thing that day. I do wonder what they were intending to do with that car though

but I doubt that they set out in the car to do that particular thing that day.

whether they formed an intention early that morning or earlier that year is irrelevant - if they're willing to do that in broad daylight on a busy road what could they do down a quiet country road ?

open their arseholes with speculums fill with battery acid and hang them upside down

What an excellent idea!! Wish I'd thought of it,whilst subjecting the scum to the above, perhaps injecting their testicles with domestos filled syringes simultaniously would act as a deterrent to other scum? Oh! And I suggest televising!!!!!!! Beats 'Emmerdale' anyroad!!! This country along with many others is f***ed!!We allow criminals to get away scot free with perhaps a tap on the wrist, victims are left to suffer with no support, either financial or emotional, its wrong, its time we became a little less tolerant!!!!

I lost a good friend to a couple of scrotes in a stolen car a good few years back, when the Little bastards thought it would be funny to play "chicken" with a line of bikes in the evening in Clifton in Bristol. my mate Steve and his girlfriend Claire were on the 3rd bike inthe line, the first bike swerved out the cars way the second bike was clipped this was steves brother he sustained a broken leg but Steve was hit head on. He was killed on impact his grilfreind lost 2 inches off her right leg and had nearly 6 months in traction.

The scrotes well the driver was charged by causing death by wreckless driving and stealing the car. The passenger was charged with aiding and abetting. These charges were upped to Vehicular manslaughter once they realised it wa the same car that had earlier that evening attempted a head on collision with a police car. The little bastards got their brief's to plea it down to the initiall charge as long as they could be in and out of court, Steves mum didnt know about the court case until after it had happened.
Driver got 3 years he served 2 the passenger got 18mnths served 1 year

They did pay in the end but thats another story.

No fucking justice in this land .
