this engine was bought in for checking as it would'nt fire up. it read as a 2.2 litre s model.
but after cc'ing it and checking cam lift duration etc, it turns out it is a 2.2 crank case with a 2.4 crank barrels heads etc. and the cam is a lowly one not an s model. so instead of 200 bhp its only 150bhp.

but its going into an immaculate vw splittly camper and not were it should be IN... A TRIKE

OH AND AS FOR NOT FIRING UP.. DIZZY WAS 180 DEGREES OUT :)

the 3 litre se it one of the best engines porsche built. with loads of torque and it propably the cheapest motor of the range. you can buy a rotten 911 3 litre for £2000.00.

gearbox from a vdub will fit straight on as far as bolt pattern is concerned. but best to use the porshe one

an engine £1500.;)
