i put my new bars on today an switched my bike on to check that the switches were all working and i haven't f**ked up, but then when twisting the throttle the bike just cuts out!!!:eek:

has anyone got an suggestions as after an hour working on it im lost:(

You checked all the cable tesions, eg choke on cos of cable being pulled? just a thought:confused:

choke seems to be OK, its switching on an off and appears to be fine. mr ake thinks that it might be summit to do with the carbs eg, off balance or the carbs need setting up again and are therefor flooding the engine an cutting out???? but we are both confused about what it could be

routing of throttle cables or choke I could understand causing this, maybe a loose electrical connection? I couldn't see why changing the bars would alter carb balance. I'd be having a beer and going back to it later and re checking the cables arn't pulled tight, concentating on having a few mil of slack at the carb end on trottle and choke
