Took a club member up to Liverpool yesterday to collect a bike he'd purchased.
Tis a rotax engined Armstrong MT 500 with. I know absolutely nothing about particular this model of bike but was interested to learn that Harley Davidson bought out the company and that the bikes were readily used by the US army due to their excellent reliability. Can’t say I'd ever seen/noticed one anywhere before though.
We stopped for a cup of tea on the way back down the M6 and as we left the service station building guess what was parked not 20 feet from the van. Yep, 2 Military Police, Rotax engined Harley Davidsons.

:D :D :D

I've ridden an Armstrong Mt500 - godawful thing, much too tall for a dwarf like me, and someone else had to kick it over for me. By the time I got back I felt like kicking the bloody thing over myself...
