Possibly The Incredible Shrinking Dickies? I know they did great versions of Paranoid and The Bannana Splits song :D

well it wasn't the Dickies, I don't think, though the Incredible shrinking dickies was the name of their 1st album (I think) they are just called the dickies

Just spoke to one of me mates and he reckons the Ramones used to to do a cover of it but only at live gigs they never recorded it. :(
