View Full Version : Rally 20-22nd August in Devo, Cornwall or Dorset area

Wanted rally in Devon, Cornwall or Dorset area on the weekend of the 20th - 22nd of August.

Me the Mrs and some friends are biking down to this area for our summer holiday. The weekend we leave we are going to be at the Bulldog Bash before heading down that way. On the way home we'll be stopping at the Ogri rally but we need a rally for the middle weekend.

So come on folks lets have some ideas !

i used to live down that way Yeeeeeeaaarrrsss ago.

The Dorset Nomads used to hold a rally roughly that weekend - I have read they're holding rock nights now, so they might be rallying again.

Aaaand there's a wicked little pub (campsite out the back) that is the venue for rallies that I know of in Devon - not been for a while, but I hope it's still going. The Fox and Hounds, Bridestowe, on the Tavistock-Oakhampton road. I have on occasion gone to a rally there, roughly that weekend.

not an enormous amount of help, but I'll keep a lookout in the coming months.

Bristol bike show is that weekend, althought it's slightly out of the area specified...

Fox and hounds is still going, Plymouth Motorcycle club use it for their steel pony & Tank slapper rallies, each year, just not sure when they are, :(

Sorry MD haven't been to Cornwall since I was a kid and nothings going to stop me now.
Anyway I hear that there are some dodgy biker types in Kent !

Well I'm in Dorset but I c an't help.

I think the pub where the Nomads used to have their rally got turned into a private house.......

So Jim your going to head fer Kernow beginning of August. GOOD!! coz i'm going down fer a week at the end of July an I dont want you spoiling it fer me :D

So my goat frollicking won't be spoilt..........excellent !
