theres a "Y" piece on the rear pot
enthusiastic riding splits this
it can be welded, or else £148 ouch

A weld is fine Taff but check that the LH exhaust tab bracket (Part#65619-98) is not on the way to breaking point as well. (fig #18) below.

Another option is to remove the pipe going out to the LHS altogether and just run a 2 into 1. Saves about 30lb in weight and bike will run just as well.

If thats a vibration crack, surely any replacement wouldnt put up with your "enthusiatic riding style" either, is it worth it to have the twin pipes ???

thay say there are various reasions why it happens
lose brackets/putting exhaust on wrong, lose exhausts, lose engine mounts
any excuse but "its a bad design by moco"

I been thinking that an all, gonna get it welded up when me weld monkey's back from abroad, and check out what others running a Faggot Glide have done about it.
Anything but ride slower...

Weld it up with a bracing piece in there, should do the trick. Worked on my mates one.

Got it off, decided against riding it the 40-odd miles to me welder mate, i never had full confidence it'd make it, to the end of our road.
Taken it right off and took it local instead;
