Before christmas Blair & Co said they would review the Law so that the public could better protect them selfs again'st burglars and intruders, They have announced today that the Law is sound as it stands but the public need to understand it better so no changes will be made.
If you are in bed and are woken up by an intruder dont go down stairs and confront them but call for help and wait for that help to arrive if you can [yeah bolloxs] I live in a bungalow so does that make me exempt.....the fcuk it does, already been there and got the T/shirt...I got nicked, fined + 60 hours community service and had to pay him compensation, He got 2 years probation
Would i call the police.......NO

Would i do it again......DAM RIGHT I WOULD.

So just put all your goodies on the table before going to bed, It will save you cleaning up the mess.

I don't watch the news or read papers if I can help it, because of inane twat-****e situations like this.

I'd do whatever i could to protect my family, we can't all live in homes with security service protection Mr Blair!

I'd say that the polis up here (along with the Procurator Fiscal's Office) are a wee bit more tolerant of a homeowner "having a go" then the CPS.We got burgled about 10 years ago,the lowlife was going out the back window as we were coming in the front door.Called the feds and 3 or 4 turned up including an inspector. When I told him if I'd caught the wee scrote they'd be taking ME to the cells for assault he replied "Oh no sir, you'd just be protecting your wife who he'd had a go at,now wouldn't you?"
Very refreshing.
On another occasion I was talking to a copper about the bike and told him (half jokingly) if I caught someone nicking it there's a canal out the back he said "That would be nothing for us to worry about."

On a slightly different note, my wife ran over someones dog in my car and the coppers drove her home. When we had sorted everything out, he quietly suggested that I put my 20" American Army Issue Machete in a less obvious place, like under the seat......so they aint all bad down this neck either!

coppers told me when some scum popped my sisters car window...

If you find them, give them a fugging good kickin, drag them to a phone box, call us, and tell us where to find the body !!
