ok i have a yam 50 twist n go two stroke in.
it will start and will probably tickover all day.
but it will not revvery high evewn less under load, it will pick up a bit if choke is used. but not much.
this is what i've checked so far.
fuel flow fine
carb clean
reeds fine
it feels like fuel starvation, which leaves me with crankshaft seal failure
agreed?? :D :D

some of these twist and go peds are very picky about their induction side. even removing the rubber hose from the air box inlet will bollox the running up, so it might be worth a check that its got an air filter as it should have, cos the bwhizz i built up did exactly that till i found out that there wasnt an element in the air filter!

air filter is fine just the slab foam type i buy in sheets to cut to size/shape.
will check the blocked exhaust bit as i really have to much work booked in to go having to strip a engine right down for the sake of 2 little seals ;)

oh i know the peugeot cdi immobilsor one :D this is a yam neos 50.
since doing scooters i seem to have become inundated with the things, i have 9 scooters in and 2 full size bikes.
including a honda sh125 that the owner run low on oil which meant the piston was not getting splashed by the crankshaft,
they fit an oil light connected to the odometer, it lights up every 3000 miles i think. so he assumed that you do not have to check the oil whatsoever in between those times, costly mistake, :)

Check the throttle cable, make sure the oil pump marker lines up.
Then get the owner in,beat him mercilessly until he admits to where he was tinkering.
Even when you find score marks on the offending part they still always deny touching it.
