Why are norms so feckin' boring - can't go into specifics cos yu never know whose reading these forums but no one ever takes risks any more - it's all ,Oh we're not covered to do that or we'll get get sacked if we're not jobs worths or we're too scared to do such and such in case we get nicked!!!! Incident at Uni today really f*cked me off - eveyone in the NHS is scared to breathe in case they get sued, won't try anything new in case they get in trouble etc etc.
Me and Mitch just take the f*ck it attitude and do what the feck we want - if most people (i,e norms at work) knew half the stuff we get up to in our spare time they would self combust and die!!!!! If yur too afraid to live life to the full and fear everything you might as well be dead!!!!!!!
Live by example.
If you had to explain it they obviously wouldn't understand.
This world consists of sheep and shepherds. I think we know which category we all fall into.
Ride happy , ride free.
F**K it. just ride !

Live for today you will be dead tomorrow.we all want to live forever but that aint going to happen. its not the material things that matter, its the people that you pass on your way through life.that realy matter
that old saying "BE HERE NOW".if you are into books give "POWER OF NOW" a go .this is getting far to heavy for this time of night.my favorite smile at every body and treat every body how you would like them to treat you.live life to the full,

Age.........
....I got fed up with everyone letting me down, taking advantage of me (ooer) and so decided that I was gonna look after ME.
Thats was all well and dandy until after 2 weeks of my own company I realised:
1. I was the most boring B****** that every walked the earth
2. I was an argumentative bugger
3. Shopping at TESCOS.com meant that I couldn't get 8 tins of premium BLUE & WHITE larger @ 0.0001% alc for 2 pence cos the tins were dented.
Having said that...the only thing that makes life worth livin, are the people you share it with....and the great thing is....you get to choose 'em

Why dont I take risks? Well, not worried about what happens to me, but I am worried about how things would affect the ones I love if I wasnt there to provide for them, five kids without a dad and a wife with no husband puts a different perspective on many things in life.

nanny state.
everyone is wrapped in cotton wool. I havent lived a hard life, but i have spent a few weeks on beans on toast, and had mates scraping the back of a sofa for a few pennies for food.
kosovans etc etc coem into the country and get what they want, noone is allowed to critisise (or get sued), you cant defend your own home (that farmer / shotgun / yob thing) or get locked up... its all gone like america...
still get scared on me bike hoofing it down country lanes at night cos i know it will hurt if i bin it - but at least i know im alive... and that means a lot to me at the mo.

People don't want to take risks because they want to live as long as possible, in good health with financial security.
People take risks because they want the thrill of not being entirely in control. Adrenaline and resulting endorphins are naturally produced drugs that are just as addictive as any other.
You junky.

The trouble in living for today is that tomorrow keeps turning up and I've spent all my money on beer, loose women and pat.....

Cue new thread on mad things we did in our youth (and probably still do) like sleeping rough in a field because we were too pissed to get home after a party, having £5 to last 3 weeks because I spent all my salary on booze, eating patients left overs for three weeks because said £5 didn't last very long :) getting so drunk in the student nurses home and making such a ruckkus that police broke my door down and I had to be taken to A&E handcuffed to a stretcher with alcohol poisoning (very nearly got the sack for that one, written warning!!!).
Not to mention the time I went from Bedford to the west coast of Ireland on a Honda 200 cc with a right nutter who crashed the bike into a wall and wrote it off because I wouldn't sleep with him. I then had to hitch hike back to England as there was no money for a train. it took me a week and I had to sleep rough for that week, I was not amused at the time but it was quite funny looking back. Spent most of my 20's doing mad things like that, thankfully have settled down a bit now but there are still times when me and Mitch revert to form :D
