Sadly on reading it it seems he tries to be a poor imitation of Dion Fortune as well - ho hum. There's nothing more annoying than writers with no imagination who cadge ideas off all and sundry.
Thanks for the link, I'll have a good look at it and get back to you on the books :)

Times Arrow by Martin Amis, for about the 4th time . Its about an escaped nazi war criminal whose life is witnessed by an internal entity but in reverse time. for example he goes to the dinning table full and content then regurgitates his food and re-assembles his meal . Very bizzare book indeed.Puts good and evil into a whole new perspective

I'm currently reading quite a lot of rubbish just as a form of escape, not quite had to resort to Mills & Boon yet, but the sad thing is I've read everything by David/ David & Leigh Eddings so I'm eagerly awaiting their next epic.
Also lately into Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus books about a heavy drinking Edinburgh policeman.
Can't read anything serious as I have the attention span of a butterfly.
