Anyone know what was going on? Got a text from a mate saying he was going through the airport and all hell broke loose at one of the gates, he thought it was a load of bikers fighting.....(He is not a biker and anyone with a leather jacket is a hells angel to him.. )

Didn't you have one of your dedicated reporters (i.e. Roof!) there to capture it on film??

So there's no point speculating on anything and giving them more ammo, is there? That seems like that might be a good point to end the thread. :)

Basicly, if you don't know what happened, or why, you don't need to know.

You could say that about anything, are you saying there are certain things that we should not ask questions about? And what if we all keep quiet and it turns out to be a bunch of goths or something, can I ask questions then?

I am certain the gutter press dont get their info from here.......

edit: The only time HA was mentioned was in the reference from my mate, and that was to put things in the context of how he saw the world.

Wot fettl all.................aye, the wife n me were at Brum Airport, meeting my youngest flying in from Belfast where he'd been recalled from paternity leave by the Army and who had to pick up his car from our house before getting to Colly for muster.....

Did'nt see any trouble of the biker kind but what I did notice was that the whole of Arrivals was wall to wall with suntanned brethren of Asian caste.......then I noticed that a flight was due from Islamabad...............yep, that would do it thought I........It was like chucking out time at Saddam Hussain mosque......not a word of my mother tongue being spoken by any of 'em........

Oh to be in England........this green and sceptred isle......in danger of being submerged under a sea of garlic, curry powder n poppadums....

The only trouble I had was spotting a white face.......until I saw my lad that is.......

Right thats enough non p.c comment from me....I'm off down the pub....

Nope, Its only news if the people writing the news, write it.

So all speculation is completely pointless, and benefits no-one.

Right now its not news, its olds

There is a difference between reported news and speculation. If you want to know about it, then the BBC News web site is very good.
