are we all on ere on a Saturday night. Is it cos we are to old for night clubbing any more? Is it cos we cant be arsed to go out on a rainy night?
Is it cos it's January and credit card bills are due? Or is it cos we are boring farts with nothing interesting to do? :D :D
In my case, I couldnt be arsed to go out in the rain. I dont drink so dont like sitting in pubs then going outside for a fag (in the rain). Plus I've gone mad and dyed me hair another colour and I dont want to be seen in public :D :D

For many reasons - it was too cold to camp on my own at the chilly willy, i still feel a bit poorly and tired from being ill over new year, i lost my switch card, and i found out today someone i knew and liked an awful lot died, so am not in a party mood. Have spent the evening dozing and knitting, and contemplating how short life is.

I just got home after a night out, where i saw life long pal and we have just made up, after a falling out 5 years ago, we've been speaking for nearly 6 months now, but not really sorted out the problems, which was her betraying me, and tonight, its been sorted, her with big tears, apologising, and me being accepting that she is truly sorry.
I dont usually go back on a decision, i suppose i cut nose off to spite face, i'm great friend, but walk away, with not even a glance back if one upsets me, but she was my nearest and dearest from the age of 14, she's my daughters godmother, I feel quite warm and fluffy inside.

Great take it easy for a while, real friends are hard to come by...and life is so very short...If there was a man involved, just bear in mind that if it hadn't been her, it would have been someone else...We men are rotton and can't really be trusted with just one woman...sometimes not even just one at a time..... :D John

Skint, it's a few days before pay day so going out is out of the question. Was so bored yesterday I thought I'd die of it - Mitch was out the whole day on his welding course.
It's been a while since I've been that bored - couldn't think of one single thing I could be arsed to do.
What colour have you died your hair Cherry B?

Thought I'd go dark brown  When peeps on TV dye their hair all different colours from week to week and it looks great. With me  I look like a transvestite with a wig on. Cant do anything about it for 7 days. Oh well I've learned me lesson not to dabble with things I know nothing about :D :D

Keep going feebz...when you have a bike in mind and the money to pay for it come back on and ask for advice...someone on here will have ridden or owned that model and may save you buying a donkey... :D John

yeah thanks i will do because i know nothing compared to you guys.
if im honest with you i go for the looks, all these numbers and stuff mean absolutly bugga all to me at the moment.
so yeah i will need your advice when i do get around to buying thanks !
god im so exited :D
i want it in the garage for the day i turn 17.
iv been thinking, i'll be able to have saved enough for the shadow by my birthday but do you think it would be wiser to get a cheap scooter for a few months before i go on to buying a proper nice and expesive bike?
i was just thinking about what someone on here said a while ago, im guarantied to fall off at some point when i first start out.
just dont want to get bashin up a 4 grand bike as soon as i get it!
Get a CG125 Feebz, they are ten a penny on ebay and also are the bike of choice for 99% of rider training schools. They are pretty resilient, spares are easy to obtain and they are cheap to run and maintain. You could probably pick a decent one up for around £300.
After you have learned to ride and gained a bit of experience, you can then think about getting summat a bit more posh with the confidence that you are less likely to drop it than when you first learn to ride. You will be restricted to riding a 125 or a bike of less than 33 bhp for two years anyway once you pass your test cos of your age, so you can afford to spend a bit of time getting the right bike that you can live with until you are ready to move up to a bigger capacity bike.

gravs right, buy a 'banger' for a bit till ya get yer sea legs, most times I fell off mine where pushing it, turnin around or getting out of the garage.

hahahaha, i'd forgotten bout that, i spent many a 'happy' moment trying to lift my bike off of me, (where i'd been pushing it out of it parking spot,) without letting anything of it touch the ground.
I had a 2 year old suzuki Marauder 125cc, lots of people with lots of opinions with that bike, but she was gorgeous, never let me down, even tho like i said, she'd laid down with me many times.
And, she was a very pretty 'girly' ice blue.
(I'm a girlie biker and i dont care!!!! I even wear PINK, mostly red and black tho)
Nowt wrong with the Marauder, low centre of gravity and a comfy riding position, good fuel economy and capable of 75mph. My mate Alison has one and she's a dwarf. :D

RIGHT at the Point Of No Return as i pushed back out over the lip of the garage door in Bristol was a particularly luxuriant bed of nettles caused by the boys pishing there instead of going up to the house.

Theres a cheap lil 125 on the for sale boards, a GS125 good enough bike to learn on, Plenty of schools use em to teach with.

Feebz you shouldn't be even thinking of spending £4,000 on a bike...the first think against it is that if you buy a new bike it loses 30% of it's cost within the first mile of riding...the second is that ,at this point you don't know what your riding style will be, cruiser, sportsbike, chop, scooter, classic...these are all different and you don't ask someone else which is best, I might like a GT750 whereas someone shorter that me..like Grav for instance might like something completely differen't like a clean GT750...If biking is what you want to do, then do it the way we all did...buy the cheapest old banger you can, pass the test, and then see if you can try a few different bikes until like CherryB you find the one you want to keep...I have bought the last bike I will ever buy... :D John

I paid £600 for the Stubborn Beatch and although she's not my perfect bike, we have learned to get along. I admit, I look lovingly at gixxers (only when she's not looking), but for now, she'll do me, battered but loved. And she only complained a little when i fell off a few times.
I have been out on my bike this evening and it's no longer clean.
