For all you people who have to walk dogs in the freezing cold weather and get fed up waiting for them to finish their running about...here's a hint...Put a hot water bottle up inside the front of your coat while you are out and you will feel as warm as toast...Make's the whole walk a pleasure...Say what you like, but when I had a dog I was the only warm person not screaming at my dog to hurry up.... :D :D John

I think the modern alternative is some kind of gel pack thing you stick in the microwave, then up ya jumper. Or, if your really rich, battery heated gloves, vests, insoles and long johns - cosy eh ;)

I buy them from Lidls..they have a wide filling screw for easier filling..but you can get them from Boots, Woolworths, and other places...this time of the year I use one to walk around the town..I'm not too proud to be comfortable...If anyone wants to think I'm a prat, they can...But I'm the warm comfy one...Long ride out in the freezing cold, hotty under my coat and when it gets cold I can empty it and it fits anywhere...gets a laugh when I ask a cafe to fill it for me... :D John...hard as nails, thick as a plank..warm as toast...

I have to admit, i also stick hot water under my jumper when i ride on cold days. I've had an accident with one, used to wear chaps, was sick of sitting at work all day with cold bum, everything else warmed up eventually, but bum dint, so strapped hot water bottle to seat, worked great for a week, till it burst a hole by the neck, shooting a small jet of boiling water, right onto my girly bits. at first i thought pain was 'girlies' pain, till i stopped and realised my foo was steaming. so stick it up your jumper, but dont strap it to bike and sit on it. :D :D
