My head's still spinnning.


One of BagLady's work assistants is married to an ex-soldier who suffered major amputation as a result of enemy action in Afghanistan. He was at Selly Oak and Headley Court.
He was at the Cenotaph this year, and they're both active in the Help for Heroes.
They sent me the details, so I posted the link here.





In a pub last night, chap I served with walked in. Long chat about 'the old days' which led to 'what ever happened to....'


Turns out, one of my oppos, sound bloke, my age, who I did a lot of further training and courses with, got blown up in Iraq. I hadn't heard a thing about it.

He's been through Selly Oak and Headley court, I'm trying to find out where he is now.
