Well, had me op last Tuesday and apparently it was a success. Bloody pain is i havent been able to ride or drive for 7 days cause they dont allow ya.
Friggin ell, talk about bloody mood swings. Ive gone from manic speed freak to phsycotic axe murderer to depressive maniac but its all happening at 100mph :D I think im starting to settle now and get me head round it all. Kind of helps knowing that whats happening is actually quite normal cause for a few days nobody told me anything. Still got a bit of pain in me chest and i keep getting these woopy whizzy spells but its all ok.
Funny thing is i wanna run everywhere. Im like Forest Gump where he loses the calipers on his legs. I just wanna expel energy. Its fuckin great. I feel like me old self. Roll on winter and getting back out in them hills :D
Cambrian Rally/Enduro 2 and a half weeks away to so getting sorted for that (walking, push bike, kick starting me XR, all good exercise).
Thinking about taking up boxing again cause ive got a couple of mates that run a small gym.
Jesus, i hadnt realised how bad i'd got before i had this done. I was slowly starving me heart of oxygen over a few years apparently. No wonder i was getting pissed off.
Start at the anti smoking clinic next week to, gotta get meself proper sorted like i used to be (lucky really, apparently thats why i faired so well after an apparently big heart attack).
Ah bollocks, im off to do summat. Ta ta all :D

Great news Rob - I dont think anyone can be prepared for the immediate difference with this type of surgery. Mate of mine had a triple bypass last year - the minute he'd cleared the anaesthetic he felt 10 times better plus. He's like a yoof again now!
