Cool, millions of years ago I had a 1936 500 single Zundap as a field bike. Bought and sold for 20 quid. I think I know who owns it still.

Anything before 1950ish. oldest bike I ever rode was a 1948 BSA M21, ferkin great 600cc sidevalve single. No power, but enough torque to rip the tarmac off a gypos driveway....

A slug could rip the tarmac of a gypos drive

Which tells you a lot about the bikes I rode (and could afford) as a penniless apprentice.

Had a photo of a steam driven bike circa 1913ish, brilliant engineering and would love to own it. Different! I should say so...

The whole point of rules is that there must always be an exception. My XS is exceptional ;) :D

what a bike, me brother had 2 when i was a wee lad and wouldn`t let me have a go on em, barsteward
i used to have a XS750 once upon a time, handled like a shoppin trolly it did, but i owned it for 3 years and loved it
and me mates got a Z9 in his garage hes owned for 13 years, its totaly mint and it ain`t run for 5 years, just uses his harley now, and the fecker won`t sell it me, nearly bought a basket case for £800 but as i had 4 bikes in the garage the missis sed no! cowbag, but looking back it would have cost fortune to rebuild
