The Crew are thinking of buying a marquee to cut out the greedy landlords, and hire expenses of putting on the rallies. Yeah I know what ya are gonna say 'Wont be cheap and that cuts down the expense???????????', but we are gonna do proper field rallies from next year. :)
After the lies and greed of the twat at the last pub , we are no longer gonna have anyone else do our bar! We shall sort that ourselves.
So no pub, means no on site marquee. :(
We have enough cash in the expenses account to buy a marquee if it's cheap enough, and all in one piece.

So does anyone know where we can get a cheap secondhand marquee?
Or can put me in touch with a company that makes or hires them out. Maybe we will be able strike a deal with them as we are a charity......... ;)

Any help guys, will be very much appreciated.

how big do you want,ex military tents are 20ft wide by 10 ft sections.....and a decent size one costs in the region of approx £600-£1200 then you need some means of transporting it,,,then storing it;as well as drying space....bigger marquees cost a lot more....but do come up !(i,ll make enquiries).

Just a thought but have you considered getting in touch with an mcc/rally club that have their own marquee for their rally and see if you can have a loan of it. Lets face it in most cases it is only dragged out once or twice a year. :D

They were using tents from these guys at out local folk festival, for occasional use, they're quite light to move about and as a start, might be worth a look...

£825 for 6m x12m is pretty good value for money.
