you ever gone to a rally and found that stuff had been changed since you 1st got there, or that the people manning the bar or food are just trying it on?
at a couple of recent rallies, one of which, I decided late on saturday night I`d like 1 last can of beer to drink while sat around the bonfire, before retiring to my tent, so off to the bar i goes only to be told "sorry we don`t sell single cans, you gotta buy 4" now i don`t wanna buy 4coz i know i`ll only drink 1, and i also know that earlier in the night when I went to the bar, the same cnut sold me single cans. :rolleyes:
or at another rally, everything was sold via a ticket system, fine but when someone wants JUST to buy either a single beer, or in this case a baggette from the clubs catering, why insist that you gotta buy £20 worth of tickets when you only want a sandwich ffs, though its odd that they will sell you just enough tickets to buy a rally badge :rolleyes: :confused:

Lots of the European rallies that I go to operate a token system for beer and food. Don't have to buy a certain amount, can just buy one if you want. Also, if you have any tokens left at the end of the weekend they will exchange em back for cash. (which I just forgot to do, so have a bunch of Luxembourg tokens in me waistcoat pocket :o )

Reason they go the token route is to reduce the number of people handling cash, just a couple of token sellers responsible for cash.

Seems to be the norm over there and is starting to happen more and more here. We probably don't go to the same rallies though :eek:

I only use ear plugs when camping never on my bike because I would not hear anything falling off it!

went to a rally some years ago at Lumb Farm, can`t remember the rally`s name, but we noticed the later it got and the more folk got pi$$ed the more expencive the beer got, some of the lads were getting their backs up so we called for the manager of the bar and gave him a round of fucks and the club also, the club HDRCGB no longer hold their rally there now

Just walk over to said bike, remove keys and chuck em as far as possible. Normally it takes them till the morning to find em.

A lad from my club came to club rally with his girlfriend and her friend, who was clearly up for it in all sorts of ways, judging from the noise coming from their tent. I wouldn't have minded so much except I'd brought the kids (it is a family friendly rally). Still made a change from being kept awake by snoring!!

... However one year I did the 'Paranoid Piggybank' into which I put a quid every time I saw a band do 'Paranoid' at a rally.
