View Full Version : HAIR thread...........
while drinking and partying at the Tsunami party last weekend I saw a gal with fabulous long red hair
I want that hair
but
I'd get told off at work
so I decided I need a wig
but all the ones I found on the internet are over £100 or fancy dress ones
anyone know where I can get a cheap red wig that won't make me look like a clown or a 70s reject?
It has to be long and straight and when I say red I mean bright burgundy really
(will try and find a pic to help you here)
thank-you :D

floor mop and some red dye should work wonders.......
(Sorry oh Madame Moderator.....)
eBay. Have a variety of wigs from eBay. Don't dismiss the 'fancy dress' ones entirely either - there's some which are quite decent for about £10. I've got black and blonde bobbed wigs that are very passable and cost me £9.99 a piece.
I found this one though it's a small picture
maybe I could get a plain one and dye it?
btw doing a google 'image' search for 'long red hair' is a dodgy thing to do at work
*blush*

Most wigs are acrylic and wouldn't take dye. :(
Try a search on 'Cher wig' - that will probably turn up long straight haired wigs in a variety of colours.

Have you considered a hairweave as per Elton John?

I had half my hair chopped off the other week. I half regret it but it was getting so long, I could only 'dance' to the slower tracks! The new shorter 'do' has been tried and tested to satisfaction at Jillys :D

Which half? Asymmetrical Minxy, eh?

I just had it chopped at the bottom all the way round. It now appears that I could have made a more interesting style decision. Mayke next year when it all grows back :D

Pedantic mode on-Mohicans had long hair. What we refer to as a 'mohican' was worn by the Hurons,Mohawks and a couple others.-pedantic mode off!
Mind you,if I'm wrong,and I probably am,I'm sure someone will point it out! :D :D

Is she the one with three holes and gripping hands?? i suspect not. for that sort of money you would get the 'basic' package with just the two holes (combination of your choice) but with 'realistic' pubes............................................. ...apparently.

I'm taking the opportunity while I'm off work, to dye my own hair that colour cos I think it's gorgeous too! Mine's red already but nut a darker sort of red, and I'm so fed up with people saying "I like that colour, it really suits you" - they're always the people I don't want to like it!
