reminds me a bit of them old montessa's
It looks like one of those little NVT kiddy bikes that NVT made alongside the DT175 powered Rambler trailie in the late 70s as the British industry went down the toilet.
made them with a minarelli engine, later one they marketed them as BSAs.
So technically, what you have there is a British Classic!
I quite liked the Rambler, not a bad looking wee bikey

that engine is definately a puch one, and the frame looks similar to the magnum childs bike, but ive never seen a monoshock one.
this is the maxi road going ped, but look at the engine, its the same one,

well the nvt ones were only badge engineering anyway using bought in yam engines, so its possible they could have either bought in puch engines or, more likely bought in entire bikes and badged them as nvt. there are still some spares suppliers for the puch bikes about, so it might be a good buy if you can get it cheap.

isn't it a Gilera....there was a Tiger or summat that looked like that!!
gilera tiger cross was an off road style, but had a vertical cylinder rather than the horizontal cylinder on this engine.
