Well, I like my bikes, I also like my 2 V8 cars. (well, rage rover and pickup, but close enough). For a while the other half has been in an auto due to a bad knee. Now ready for a manual, she has been looking around. We are test driving some today, what does she like???????????????????

1.2l corsa and ford KA. How can i possibly have either of those on me drive and still have credibility with the neighbours? guy to the left of us has 3 ferrari's, other side is a masserati, then next to him is a nissan 350z, and we are supposed to have a KA. What will the neighbours say?

and worse than that, the KA is PINK !!!! Bright Feckin PINK !!!!!!!!

Oh the humility.

Nowt wrong with the 1.2 Corsa, I've got one, but my missus uses it for commuting cuz it's economical, so if I need 4 wheels I use her 2.5 V6 Vectra.

Ah hum. :D

if you've got time to worry about what the neighbours think, you've got too much time on your hands, go build yourself a chop or something.... ;)

ford KA.

Aren't they the car most likely to injure a biker?

According to a recent insurance poll...

1.2l corsa

Get a black CDTi, SXi trim, old (from Y to 06 plate) one. 55 - 65mpg, completely unbreakable - I've had 4 of them now and none of my learners have killed one yet... look better than the new one and are giveaway prices at the dealers ATM. So well styled from new that even the chavs don't put body kits on 'em.

Can't help you with the cred part though, as I am currently a cred-free zone. :p

I like the blobby idea.

I have talked her into a blue one. Still a corsa though, but at least its not the pink Ka.

As for the build a chop idea, I would love to but just dont know where to start. So any advice on that subject will be greatfully received.

I can weld and am quite good with metal work, but so far only for repairs, never started anything from scratch before, but I would like to give it a go.
