soo gutted to be having to sell this, really love the bike, but however I had a bad back, had physio a year or so back and just thgouht it would all be good

done about 500 miles on it since getting it and I have had enough, all the devon lanes and roads are terrible, so it has to go and something with suspension to replace it, my back is killing me and riding it is no fun for me anymore

anyway its a GSX750 hardtail engined chop, mustang twin cap tank, good tyres, great engine, slab yokes etc etc, well built with forwards and nice seat and sissy bar

when I got it, only about 3 weeks ago :(, it wasnt running as well as I thgouth it should, discovered that it had points instead of electronic ignition, so thats all been swapped back and now it starts on the button, and when warm it idles real low and sweet

carbs been balanced and rejetted

the things I was going to do if I kept it longer is to build an exhaust for it, its currently got just 4 downpipes, sounds awesome, but a pain for longer runs etc like I tend to do.

clutch slips a bit when giving it beans, so thats about £45 to sort

and wiring could do with a tidy in the electrics box etc, all working and sound but Im a fussy git and would have liked to have redone it over the winter

its not a shiny mint show winner, but its a sound bike, ex local NCC bike originally before it went north and then came back to its home town :)

MOT and Tax for 11 and 5 months respectively

looking for about £1500 or offers or what you got in the way of a streetfighter or something with suspension

will be going to evilbay later today, will do a deal for people from here etc as priority over ebay rabble

cheers Si

I think its a good price, its mot and tax, ride away and use or spend time and little cash on it and would have a real nice bike

I mock fitted a sporster tank and it looked 10 times better, but the tunnel is 1.75 inch, the top tube on this is 2"

if I dont get somehting close to that money for it then I will tear it apart do the jobs that I wanted to do and readvertise it at accordingly higher price, but thing is that I need somehting to ride in the mean time

oh and dont worry this one isnt for dwarfs, need to be at least 5-11 to 6' to ride this one LOL

cheersmate you got reply

yeah it is nice, its nice in the fact that it looks good, I grind both footpegs on way to work quite happily, its comfortable for me on smoth road etc, and looks great on the move, ( a mate had a ride wheil I rode his and had to think "yeah thats cool" )

the engine idles at about 600 rpm quite happily now carbs are fully rebuilt and balanced, and will pull from 25-30mph all the way in top gear no problems

its not perfect but Im not asking for OCC price

its what I call a working bike, use it, park it with tesco carrier bag over airfilters and leave it

you never gonna lose any money on it at that price

its on evilbay and had questions and already 4 watchers after just 3 hours on there so hopefully it will go

but I would prefer to do a deal for anohter bike, trouble is that if I sell it the wife will see/spend/want the cash and thats it, all gone :( LOL

Tis true you have to deal with some right wankers n dreamers, got the xjr on there for the third and last time as people bid then drop out of the deal, Its why I always tend to put adds on here 1st as a lot less hassle
