Can you please help??

I have recently joined a group of BACTA BIKING motorbike riders who are all still riding in their 50's or have come back to biking.

They are all commited to raising money for charity on a long term basis. The BACTA Charitable Trust appoints one long term charity currently RNID (Royal National Institute for the Deaf).Between 2001 & 2003 BACTA raised £160,558 for RNID.

The BACTA Charitable trust also raises money for other charities such as the Macmillan Nurses and selected local fundraisers.
This year BACTA BIKING will be raising money for OXFORD CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, in particular the department that treats children with cancer, where Ellie Ireland the 3 year old daugther of a friend of BACTA is currently undergoing treatment for cancer of the kidney's.

In order to do this 12 motorbike riders (including myself) are touring Southern Ireland over a period of 4 days starting on 11th July 2004.
Over the last ten years this team have raised over £100,000 all of which went directly to charity, NO ONE takes ANY expenses, therefore every penny goes directly to the hospital.

If you can help, then please dig deep as it will be very much appreciated.

This trip has the blessing of BACTA, all cheques must be made out to BACTA Charitable Trust, they will collate all monies for Ellie to make the presentation to Mrs Janet Sprake, Charitable Funds Department, Oxford Radcliffe Hospials.

How can you have just returned?

Your original post says you weren't leaving until the 11th July, or have I missed a whole month?

Hey man, sorry about that should have been 11th of June. Stay cool.

We lost two bikes during the trip, but both riders ok.

Update on Ellie, Unfortunately she hasa had one kidney removed, however responding very well to treatment and the signs are good.

Scottie Do not park your Heritage by a mobile mast unless you have the manual override code for your alarm system.
