so i stroll round to the fetid hellhole known as the local (only used sundays)

and they have been painting it around the customers..

even i may add down as far as tonight they were Varnishing the bar as we were leaning on it FFS

needless to say custom dropped off

I believe it. but it bodes the question WHY, it's not like pubs are open early in the mornings, surlely they could've done it then with some quick drying, odourless varnish. (gets ready for deluge of Ronseal and tin jokes)

pubs always look awful 1st thing in the morning, when it's daylight, and you can see all the muck and dirty walls and filthy seats and gawd the smell is awful

still, it would have taken two days to decorate.....

should poured the varnish on his head ha ha
