The last venue we used was free, it was a bikers pub with free camping they were happy to have the extra customers for a weekend of boozing and eating...

Though I voted for a new venue ('cos you 'ard up Northerners can't afford our beer prices) I don't mind going back there again. Especially as I know where it is now!

That sounds like you'll soon have your patented E & T "Road Maps" on sale.

What about the Victoria in Coalville? They advertise in 100% Biker Magazine, and there was another pub in the Lake distrct that had an ad in the mag a few months ago too that provided free accomodation - I can't rememebr the name offhand.

I had thought of the Vic myself but its usually packed to the gills at the weekend and although we dont mind other folk, I was hoping to keep it 'select'.... but I bet Chaz turns up again :D

what date are you think of??
you could try the gate, mastin moor nr chesterfield, 1 mile off the M1 (A616).
which doubles as AIMMC`s club house. (its where the chaos crew held their xmas do and will hold 200+).
though it due to close this year and be knocked down, the club are holding a closing party in august 14 - 15th. theres camping ,food etc

tis an excellent venue and there is a nearby real cheap hotel.. less than £30 for the night

Some club has a rally there, on the bridgenorth to kidderminster road, Averley i think its called, will ask around, plus theres the place the West Mids NCC have their do,
late sept is better for me as i do the Suicide Frogs rally 1st weekend in sept
crackin rally too, if you can make it, burton on trent way.
or if you post on BW and ask trike about the pub they had for the BWCC shindig, thats free with camping, good food and beer and a cracking landlady

Pat it is the Royal Oak on the Kidderninster to Bridgenorth Road. I think it was Chaos or Stourbridge MCC who used to use it. Nice country pub with camping at the side in a field. New gaffer so you'll have to use your charm. I'll PM you the number now.
